Most well-constructed genealogy sites can be located via Cyndi's List or GENUKI (described below), or search engines such as Google. Instead of spending my time fixing broken links and duplicating what is available elsewhere on the Internet, I prefer to create pages with new information. Consequently this 'Links' page only lists a few of the Web pages that are, in my opinion, essential reading for anyone with family history interests in Queensland or the United Kingdom.
You can go to a site by clicking on the title (it opens in a new window) or print this page for future reference.

Some of my other interests in life
Apart from family history, my interests include travel, reading, gardening, photography, kayaking, fishing, paper-making, collecting postcards, and watching tennis and cricket.
- Travel: Some favourite photos from my travels are on my Web site. The current selection features Yorkshire churches and various places in Ireland and Queensland.
- Favourite books on Australian history: These include 'Weevils in the Flour' by Wendy Lowenstein (a brilliantly edited collection of oral histories telling a fascinating story of the Great Depression in Australia) and Blainey's 'The Tyranny of Distance'.
- Other favourite books: Many and varied. Practically anything by Jon Cleary, Jeffrey Archer, Jeffery Deaver, John Grisham, Martha Grimes, Elizabeth George, Ngaio Marsh, P.D. James and Douglas Adams... and (because I love the Highlands and Islands of Scotland) The Hills is Lonely and subsequent titles by Lillian Beckwith.
- Health and Natural Medicine: Whenever possible I like to use natural remedies and herbal products. My sister Robyn Webster is a registered nurse, midwife, and A.N.T.A. accredited naturopath. Robyn divides her time between two clinics in Queensland (one near Fernvale, between Ipswich and Lowood, and the other at Innisfail). Her services include herbal medicine, nutrition, iridology, therapeutic massage, homeopathy, and lifestyle counselling. If you want to make an appointment with Robyn, email me and ask for her phone number.
- Kerrie Franklin (http://antikva.blogspot.com/) created the logo at the top of my pages, and several other graphics that I use with her permission.
- I occasionally use clip art from Carol's Clipart, VikiMousePad Genealogy Graphics, Iconz, A+Art, Jelane's Free Web Graphics and Graphics by Bimsan (current URL unknown).
- Google has various services for those with their own Web pages.
